KuEra’s unit of learning is a thought expressed through challenging language. Vocabulary is both knowledge to build and evidence of how a learner constructs meaning. The planned experience connects vocabulary, comprehension, inference, and reasoning as learners interpret ideas, weigh evidence, and explain their understanding.

Independent interpretation→Targeted learning and practice→A new independent challenge
Choices, confidence, and explanations help identify where support is needed; a later challenge checks understanding without assistance.
One learning engine. Multiple test formats.
KuEra is designed to build language understanding first, then provide test-specific preparation on that foundation. Planned applications include SAT, ISEE, and other assessments, with content, difficulty, and question formats adapted to each—not a separate learning engine rebuilt for every test.
The intended architecture separates foundational learning from assessment-specific content and practice, creating a potential path to additional applications without rebuilding the core learning system.
Initial language-focused applications could include SAT Reading and Writing and ISEE Verbal Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. Each assessment requires appropriate content, capability mapping, and evaluation.
The broader purpose remains independent understanding—in academic learning, assessments, and beyond the classroom.
Evaluation objective
What KuEra aims to validate
Can targeted support for vocabulary, comprehension, and inference strengthen independent interpretation of unfamiliar language—and can learners apply that understanding across different question types and assessment formats?
